We are an independent Dutch boutique-style game developing studio specialized in exciting story-based board games and digital games. In the heart of Utrecht, we combine fantastic storytelling and excellent design with new and innovative game mechanics and work together on a royalty base with international publishing and distribution partners to produce and bring our games to audiences all over the world. 

We believe strongly in the combination of game mechanics, design, and a solid, relevant self-developed story I.P. that carries the same appearance-power as a Netflix series. Of course, the game mechanics can also be used for licensed story I.P.'s.

One big difference between traditional game-inventors and Fat Unicorns Games is that the game's development and the total design are done by a network of hand picket free-lance designers and illustrators that will design the game under our supervision, and we deliver ready-for-production if you want. 

We develop and design the games. That is our core business. The production and distribution are in the hands of our capable and international partners. But cooperation can be more significant than that. Co-creation can help to produce the best game possible. That's the reason we see the distributers/producer as partners.
